Hamza Lab

Hosted: East-West Iron Club and Red Cell Club, Oct 27-29, 2025 Baltimore, MD

The RCC, established in 1958, fosters the exchange of cutting-edge research on erythrocyte biology, spanning from developmental erythropoiesis to the diagnosis and treatment of red blood cell disorders. The RCC sessions will feature oral and poster presentations showcasing the latest advancements in the field. The EWIC, originally founded as the East Coast Iron Club in 1975, is dedicated to the study of iron biology and translational research on iron-related disorders. The EWIC sessions will include a keynote lecture, a trainee “data blitz,” dynamic discussions, and interactive poster sessions. The combined RCC/EWIC meeting will offer unparalleled opportunities for collaboration and mentorship in the research areas of red cells & iron.
